Charity Cycle Ride from Bristol to Paris by University of Bristol

University of Bristol Staff Cycle Ride from Bristol to Paris.

We have donated to this great cause that is close to many of the population of Bristol and the South-West. The bike ride is to raise money for Southmead Hospital because of the tragic passing of Rose, the wife of Tim Sansum who rides with the University team. The money raised is for the Intensive Care Unit at Southmead Hospital who provided excellent care for Rose and went over and above for Tim during an incredibly difficult time.

The journey will be from the University of Bristol to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, starting on the 18th of September covering 325 miles in just 4 days. For a team that includes many beginners this will be a huge test but in pales in comparison with what the staff at Southmead ICU face every day.

Many of the staff at Springfield have had incredible care from the staff at Southmead and we are more than happy to help with this fantastic cause.

The link to the donations page is here.

Best of luck to The University of Bristol Estates Division Cycling Team from the team at Springfield.
